Well, here we are at my first official post. Bet we're all wondering what I'm doing here.
If anyone had told me, one year ago today, that I would be writing a blog on single parenting, I would have told them they were insane. And yet, here I am one year later & 278 days into being a single parent.
Being a single mom is something I never wanted to do. I knew several people who were raising their kids on their own and I saw how tough it was. I was thankful that I would never be a single parent. Never say never I guess.
So what is this blog all about - besides single parenting? It's about a lot of things: struggling to make ends meet, helping your kids heal from this devastation, finding your way in the world--alone, and any other topic that comes to mind about divorce in the 21st century.
So to all you other single parents out there I say "cheers!" Good luck and please feel free to comment and tell me your stories. But please, be patient, I'm new to this whole blogging thing and I have a lot to learn!
